Job Training Opportunities in Construction

The 2024 Union Pipeline Program will assist Greater Hazelwood residents with an interest within local trades in the construction industry. This opportunity will provide access to the Laborers Union of Western PA, Local 373. Individuals who complete the entry apprenticeship process (40 hours/1 week) will then be able to work on active construction site and/or on the University of Pittsburgh Cell and Gene Bio project.

Scholarship Opportunity for Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) certification

Tuition for EDFP two classes is currently $1,725, Truist’s support will cover $1,525 of that amount per class and requires only $200 from you.
