Greg Jones Scholarship
For students from Glen Hazel / Hazelwood / Glenwood sections of Pittsburgh
Eligibility Criteria
- Student must currently live in the 15207 Zip code, or have parents/grandparents that previously lived in the 15207 Zip code
- ·Have a minimum 2.25 overall GPA
- If a recent high school graduate, student must have a minimum of 2.75 GPA in junior and senior years
- Provide at least two references, with at least one reference from a current or former high school teacher; can have one reference from a community leader
- Preference will be given to low-income students (determined by EFC number on SAR form)
- Attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in pursuit of an Associates or Bachelor’s degree or technical professional degree

Learn and Earn
Summer Youth Employment Program – provides Allegheny County youth the opportunity to:
- Earn over $1,300
- Build job skills
- Develop professional networks Explore career pathways
APPLICANTS must be between the ages of 14 – 21, live in Allegheny County, authorized to work in the U.S.,

IAW Summer Welding Bootcamp – Teens 14-17 can join Hazelwood Industrial Arts Workshop to gain an appreciation for metal art and a new career. Apply HERE.
LGBTQIA+ Resources for Youth

Teen Mental Health First Aid – Learn how you can help a friend in need during a mental health crisis. Youth 15-18 who complete all three sessions are eligible for a stipend. https://tinyurl.com/2s3su7km
