The Pittsburgh Penguins have given the Greater Hazelwood community a date and time for FREE ice skating at the Hunt Armory:

Sunday, February 19th, 2 pm – 3 pm

  • The facility will be open to our group only for this hour.
  • Skate rental and time on the ice is completely free.
  • Snacks and beverages are available for purchase, and outside food is welcome.
  • The Hunt Armory requires that all participants fill out a participant waiver ahead of time, or a paper version will be available on site.

The Hunt Armory

The historic Hunt Armory Ice Rink is a community ice rink located on Emerson Street in Shadyside (324 Emerson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206). It is the first indoor rink opened within the city of Pittsburgh in the last 25 years. The facility serves as home to the Pittsburgh Penguins diversity and community programming, as well as public skating and hockey.
