Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) and LITC will be holding a Problem Solving Day June 8th in Oakland. This is an opportunity for taxpayers to meet one-on-one with a tax advocate or someone from LITC regarding their tax issue that needs advice or resolution. Their goal is to provide personalized, step-by-step guidance. TAS’s services are free to taxpayers who are:
- Experiencing a financial hardship or having financial difficulties because of a tax problem;
- Trying, but haven’t been able to resolve an IRS tax problem; or
- Believing an IRS system or procedure isn’t working.
